Recently, 26 students from Bay Shore High School attended a conference with the New York State Theatre Education Association, a statewide organization of theatre educators. They spent a weekend attending workshops given by colleges, universities, and other theatre professionals, networking with other students from across the state, and experiencing a variety of performances. The trip was made possible through funding approved by the Bay Shore Board of Education, as well as fundraising efforts by the Theater Sponsors of Bay Shore, and the Bay Shore Drama Club.
