On The Forefront

The Bay Shore School ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ sets high expectations for both students and staff. Five elementary schools, a middle school and a high school provide a caring, creative learning environment for the 5,842 students who attend each day. Our mission remains to provide opportunities for all our students to learn, to grow and to achieve their maximum potential. We encourage and enjoy the strong commitment of the families living within our school district to help us reach our goals.

On The Waterfront

The Bay Shore-Brightwaters community dates back to the 1700's and enjoys wonderful access to the South Shore of Long Island. Only sixty minutes from Manhattan and a short ferry ride to Fire Island, Bay Shore stands at the forefront of cultural diversity. The Bay Shore School ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ is at the center of active community involvement. The families of our students enjoy the support of numerous civic associations, an active Chamber of Commerce and a productive Business Improvement ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ. These organizations work diligently with Islip Town, Suffolk County, and New York State government officials for the betterment of Bay Shore.
