My aunt always gives me sage advice when I’m struggling with a decision.
Let’s ask the sage for his opinion on how to handle this problem.
Anime Club: The first meeting will be on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in room 806 with Mrs. Lorusso. You must pick up a permission slip outside of room 818 and return it before the first meeting. You also MUST KNOW YOUR 3:30 BUS#. See you there!
Homework Club: Homework Club is held Monday thru Thursday, from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm. It will begin on September 16, 2024. You MUST sign up each day on the Library door. Monday – room 806 – Tuesday – room 706, Wednesday – room 914 and Thursday – room 917. Make sure you have work to be completed and KNOW YOUR LATE BUS NUMBER.
Basketball Open Gym: Basketball Open Gym will be held on Wednesday nights, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the old gym. Middle School boys only. You need sneakers to participate. Please do not bring your own basketballs. Make plans to be picked up at 7:00 pm.
Science Olympiad Club: Informational Meeting, Tuesday, September 24, 2025 – room 619 – 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm. Come to learn about all the interesting Science Events you can compete in! Please see Mrs. Nieto (619) or Ms. Miller (907) with any questions. MUST KNOW YOUR 3:30 pm BUS#. See you there!
Debate Club: Do you like to argue, learn new information or different points of view? If so, then Debate Club may be just the right fit for you. Debate Club will be meeting in room 822,with Mrs. Yarborough, starting Monday, September 23, 2024 from 2:30 pm – 3:25 pm. All grade levels are welcome to attend. Find out your bus # from the main or guidance offices, if you don’t already know it.
Robotics: Sign ups are in Mr. Mollica’s room 536. Sign ups will be from September 16, 2024 until September 27, 2024.
Toy Making Club: The Fall session of this Club will be starting soon. Please come to Mr. Kaplan’s room 534 to get a permission slip. Space is limited so please get it signed and returned as soon as you can.
Creative Writing Club: Are you a songwriter or a poet? Are YOU the author of the next best selling novel? If so, then Bay Shore Middle School’s “The Write Way” Creative Writing Club is for you! Advised by Mrs. Curtis and Mr. Hughes, “The Write Way” will host its first meeting next Thursday, 9/26/2024, after school in room 702. Come join us and let your words flow onto the page!
